Keep everything simple, COVID-19 or not

So what was the history in Busan? What was all the fuss? Why are we pissed off? What were we trying to do? Why did I got sick? What were the symptoms? Why do I still feel unwell? You’ve asked and I’ve heard.

Ultimately, I need you to be clear that my personal health condition is not a key factor in trade negotiations. I’m pretty clear what happened, and you can brag or even blame me for the woes. But it’s not going to make your life better. For me and my team, the direction is set and clear. What has happened is done and we’re moving on.

To visit, of course, is that I accept a warm invitation from Yoona’s team, and also an acknowledgment of our friendship and past partnership. I accept certain things didn’t work out as planned and we suffered losses. But the goal is not to play up the “curry and smoke” rhetoric. We have to confront our past to find new ways of partnership and strive for a better future. Of course the “EU” will play a bit hardball, and geo-political tension will run high for a while, and they may sway you here and now. Just don’t overplay with anger and tensions can be managed to an acceptable level.

Aside from the U.K., I have always strive to work with my Canadian partners for investment opportunities and seek bilateral trade deals with Seoul. I believe this is important considering our past and what truly agitated your end. I’m sure we can be more than Kim’s convenience, car rentals/ supermarkets/ convenience stores. For my father, we have our differences but he will always be my father and I will work it out with him personally. I know what’s it is about.

Once COVID-19 subsides, it’s a reality and I will make it true. I’ll elaborate more on my itinerary and hopefully that will be in a few weeks time?

Clips for the time being:
