So close yet so far (is it still about fighting for my family?)

So COVID-19 turns out to be more devastating than I have originally anticipated. I’m glad things are becoming more stable in South Korea, and for other places the peak may arrive soon and things will be a bit better. I anticipated the hatred and frustration but didn’t believe the peeks will take it that far. They are asking me to. As Tencent and Alibaba tell me this is always a game of the clash of clans- royal edition and there will be no end in sight. Wanda told me you should never do politics in the PRC. So who’s who and are we the people to make value judgment? And should everyone take the hit because of all this shit? I don’t buy it this game of chicken has taken too far.

For Seoul and others, I have launched my little version of the “bad bank”- and will add a few things more in there when the funds are ready. Cosmo and quite a few in the PRC are intrigued what I had in store for you guys. Oh well, does it always have to be about processing slush funds and North Korea? With close proximity, North Korea will always be an issue for South Korea, but for European, British , North American and other investors, that’s not necessarily the case. But they will be sensitive about it if they try things out later.

We’re talking about the next ten years and not the next ten months- things get pushed back but we’ll get there. Given the intense circumstances in the UK, we’ll wait for a little before I get a bit more concrete on my ideas. For all that bitterness about sea freight and “Western Union”, I’m done done ✅ and I’m a right person. We can’t always let ourselves drown in hatred and retaliation. This is what I call dust to dust, ashes to ashes.

I’m sure people in there will get it some day and will need time to recover. It’s never about cutting off relationships with each other, but simply a form of restructuring as I reiterated on several occasions, so that all involved parties can benefit from it. There’s no fun when one side always feel getting cheated, the other always felt being ripped off. That’s not the way to go. Plus there’re too many things under the water lacking transparency, if things go south it’s almost like a total loss.

And of course this is not all about Yoona and tourism. My visit is a good-will gesture and accepting an invitation from the host. For all businesses, it’s separate things and all parties will review and assess, do their own R&D and make moves accordingly.

Meanwhile, to sever the COVID-19 moment, YouTube time:
